STRAIGHT STAIRLIFTS - NEW OR RECONDITIONED

Lift & Stairlift Services Limited are agents for several lift manufacturers and being an independent Company can quote for the right Stairlift for you.

All Stairlift tracks are fitted to the stairs and not to the wall. It may be necessary to remove handrails to improve running clearances, this will be determined during the free no obligation survey.

Some stairlifts are battery operated with inbuilt charging systems to allow for limited use in the event of a power failure and must be parked on the charging contacts at the top or bottom of travel when not in use.

Button Switch	Key Switch

All stairlifts have inbuilt safety sensors fitted to the carriage and footrest, which would stop the Stairlift immediately an obstruction is encountered during travel.

Most stairlifts are fitted with swivel seat assemblies to improve access to and from the Stairlift at the top of travel, although it is possible to fit a percher or sit/stand model depending on the site conditions.

Depending on the type of Stairlift there may be a choice of upholstery colours and carriage controls, e.g. push button, toggle switch, joystick etc.

HINGED RAIL

If the Stairlift track is likely to obstruct your hallway, or there is a door at the bottom of travel, it may be possible to fit a manually operated or electrically operated hinged track assembly to allow free access through the door or hallway when hinge is in the raised position.

REMOTE CALL/SEND BUTTONS

All stairlifts are supplied with call/send controls at the top and bottom of the staircase.

EXTERNAL STAIRLIFTS

Depending on the site conditions it may be possible to fit an external DC battery operated Stairlift.

POWER SUPPLY

A power supply will be required for the Stairlift which is normally incorporated within the price of the Stairlift.

Running costs of a Stairlift are minimal but all will be discussed during the free survey.

WARRANTY

All stairlifts supplied by Lift & Stairlift Services Limited are given a 12 months warranty from the date of the installation, unless fault is caused by misuse or user error.

DELIVERY

Depending on the model, the Stairlift can normally be supplied within a few days of placement of order.
