CURVED STAIRLIFTS - NEW OR RECONDITIONED
The curved stairlifts Lift & Stairlift Services supply operate on track, tailor made precisely, to ensure the best fit possible to the staircase. The track is fitted to the staircase, not the wall. Depending on the site conditions, it may be possible to fit stairlifts on either side of the staircase. This will be determined during the free, no obligation survey.

Depending on the Stairlift model, there will be either wireless or infra-red remote call/send controls at the top and bottom of the staircase.
All stairlifts have inbuilt safety sensors fitted to the carriage and footrest, which would stop the Stairlift immediately an obstruction was encountered during travel.
Stairlifts are fitted with swivel seat assemblies to improve access to and from the lift at the top of travel and come complete with a seatbelt.
There will also be a choice of upholstery colours and carriage controls.
HINGED RAIL
If the Stairlift track is likely to obstruct the hallway or door at the bottom of travel, it may be possible to fit an electrically operated hinged track assembly, which when raised would give free access through the door and hallway.
SIMPLE INSTALLATION
Curved stairlifts can be installed within a few hours, with very little inconvenience. As previously mentioned curved stairlifts are fitted to the staircase and not the wall, sometimes it may be necessary to remove the handrail prior to the installation. This will be established during the free, no obligation survey.
BATTERY OPERATED
The curved stairlifts we supply are battery operated with inbuilt charging systems to allow for limited usage in the event of a power failure and must be parked on the charging contacts at the top or bottom of travel when lift is not in use.
POWER SUPPLY
A power supply will be required for the Stairlift which is normally incorporated within the price of the Stairlift.
Running costs of a Stairlift are minimal but all will be discussed during the free survey.
WARRANTY
All stairlifts supplied by Lift & Stairlift Services Limited are given a 12 months warranty from the date of the installation, unless fault is caused by misuse or user error.
DELIVERY
Normally a new or reconditioned curved Stairlift can be supplied within 2 - 3 weeks from the placement of the order and the detailed site survey being carried out. |
